In drag, Svenn embodies a woman who defines herself as "a queen among queens, outrageous and hysterical but always glamorous".
A live singer
In drag, Svenn performs in theaters and even on television. On stage, she sings pop, variety and musicals. Not to mention hits from all eras and other Disney songs, which she twists to excite the zygomatic.
Rarely, she approaches the opera repertoire in a less academic way. Her goal: mix all artistic styles up, which leads her to perform arias written for women (Cherubino in Les Noces de Figaro by Mozart, La Folie in Platée by Rameau, etc.).
History: the birth of a diva
It was her mother, a former photo-model who was close to the Geneva drag scene when she was young, who transformed her for the first time, for a fancy dress party, and passed on to her, her passion for makeup.
A few years later, dhe would do the exercise herself for a costume birthday party: she fell in love with makeup brushes and palettes and learned to use the comb and the curling iron. Even if she didn’t realise she could perform as a drag queen, she eventually figured out what was actually obvious: music and makeup, two of her main interests, would go together wonderfully.
A drag queen was born.
